Join us on the square in Winchester for intimate dining, friends and local food. Food provided by area farmers will be used to create your meal. This event helps to support Winchester and Franklin County farms and the growth of the square. It’s all about the food!
“Cultivating a healthy community by promoting locally grown, nutritious food through an intimate dining experience, filled with gourmet food prepared by an award-winning local chef and regionally sourced beverages.”
The gourmet dinner menu will be created around locally sourced ingredients and catered by Ivy Wild Restaurant. Ivy Wild offers a cozy dinner destination on Sewanee’s foggy mountain.
Entertainment during the event will include a local musician (TBD) and a speaker. We are excited to announce that our speaker will be Rick Wright, Executive Chef at the University of the South McClurg Dining Hall. Chef Wright is a true champion of sustainability. He runs a self-operational dining hall, which utilizes the University Farm and locally sourced ingredients, giving him more flexibility in purchasing where he focuses on quality, nutrition, and satisfaction; profit is no longer the main driver.
