The next Winchester Wriggle Art and Music Crawl is scheduled for May 1, 2020. The Winchester Downtown Program Corporation and the merchants of Downtown Winchester invite you to join them for a wriggle around downtown to enjoy art, music, refreshments, and community.
Artists wishing to participate must complete this application.
Artists with selected works will be notified by email. The email will contain the name of the business venue you have been matched, its address, and contact information. It will also include the time you need to meet the venue owner to hang your work and any other instructions required.
Artists (or their representatives) are required to attend the night of the Wriggle 6:00-9:00 p.m. They are responsible for collecting all sales from the purchase of their works and all applicable sales tax. Unless otherwise arranged with the participating venue, the artwork will only be displayed the night of the Wriggle. It must be removed immediately following the closing of the event.
All applications and artwork will be kept on file for future Wriggles. If your work is not chosen for one CRAWL it does not mean it will not be chosen for a future Wriggle. Likewise, being chosen to show in one Wriggle does not guarantee acceptance into future Wriggles, as each Wriggle will be individually curated.
Every effort will be made to insure the safety of your work, however, Winchester Wriggle, the members of the planning committee, and participating businesses and organizations are not responsible for loss or damage to any artwork.
All rights to the work shown will remain with the artist.
Your application submission grants permission to Winchester Wriggle to employ your images for use in promotional purposes on the event’s social media pages, press releases, brochures and any other forms of marketing communication for the event.
Your completed and submitted application also serves as an acknowledgement that you have read, understand, and will comply with all the above.
