Come join us for a fun filled day of
festivities during the Taste of Autumn in Downtown
Winchester. Among the events is our third annual Chili
Cook-Off. The judging begins at 11:00am with up to 25
cooks competing on South Jefferson Street for cash prizes
awarded for First, Second and Third place. In
addition, there will be a People’s Choice Award going to the
one chili the public votes as overall best and a Best
Decorated Booth award. To be a judge for the winner of
the People’s Choice trophy and $100 cash prize, the public
can buy tasting tickets for each participant for $5.
Taste as many as you like and vote with your tickets for
the ones you like the best. All contestants are encouraged
to name their chili and decorate their 10 X 10 area
supporting that name. While our cooks are serious about
their chili, this is a friendly completion, geared for
